★ Enrollment Guide
Osaka Taiyo Language Academy offers a one-and-a-half-year course (for university advancement), a two-year university advancement course, and a study abroad experience course. We guide each student to the course best suited to their individual goals and abilities. We provide a wide variety of courses to meet the needs of every student.

Admission to our school requires meeting all of the following conditions.
① Student’s Academic Motivation and Ability
1)Students possessing a clear purpose for studying Japanese and the will to continue their studies.
2)Students who have passed an examination equivalent to JLPT N5 (for 2-year course)
Individuals who have passed an examination equivalent to JLPT N4 (for 1.5-year course)
●For the 2-year course, applicants must possess Japanese language proficiency equivalent to the first half of Minna no Nihongo Beginner Level I at the time of recruitment. Additionally, they must have passed a test equivalent to JLPT N5 by the time of residence status application (December). If the JLPT N5 equivalent exam is not passed by the time of the residence status application, a one-month grace period (until the end of January the following year) will be granted. However, if the exam is not passed within this grace period, the enrollment date will be postponed.
●For the 1.5-year course, applicants must possess Japanese language proficiency equivalent to the level of “Minna no Nihongo” Beginner Level 1 at the time of application. Additionally, applicants must have passed an examination equivalent to JLPT N4 by the time of residence status application (June). If an examination equivalent to JLPT N4 is not passed by the time of residence status application, a one-month grace period (until the end of August the following year) will be granted. However, if the examination is not passed within this grace period, the enrollment date will be postponed.
3)Applicants who have passed the school’s admission screening.
4)Applicants who can comply with Japanese laws and Osaka Taiyo Language Institute’s school rules.
② Student Background
Applicants who have completed or are expected to complete at least 12 years of school education or an equivalent course.
Applicants who have been granted, or are expected to be granted, permission to enter Japan through proper procedures.
③ Financial Support Capacity
Applicants must have a reliable financial sponsor with sufficient financial support capacity.
※Financial support capacity does not include income from activities outside the scope of the visa after the applicant’s arrival in Japan.
★ Admissions Selection
Review of academic background and grades in home country, document screening, verification of financial support capability and willingness, interview, written examination.
